From 16th to 20th of September, 2024, Triin Rolanto participated in the Training Cycle “Clinical Research (CVM)” as part of the OH-Boost project. The three-week hybrid training, conducted by the University of Helsinki, combined theoretical seminars with hands-on veterinary practice at the University’s Equine Clinic.
From September 9th to 13th, 2024, project assistants from the OH-BOOST team at the Estonian University of Life Sciences took part in a five-day job-shadowing program at the University of Helsinki, one of the project’s key partners.
On September 12, 2024, the Researcher Forum by University of Helsinki brought together experts, researchers, and students to share insights and foster collaboration. The event featured two engaging sessions of research group presentations, covering topics like animal welfare, zoonotic diseases, host-microbe interactions, and innovative therapies.
From September 6-7, 2024, our OH-BOOST team journeyed from Tartu, Estonia, to Riga, Latvia, to participate in the much-anticipated joint conference hosted by the Baltic Society of Extracellular Vesicles (BSEV) and the Polish Society for Extracellular Vesicles (PSEV). The theme, "The Good, the Bad, and the Unknown – The Roles of EVs in Health and Disease," set the stage for deep discussions on the complex roles extracellular vesicles (EVs) play in health and disease.
