Three-minute presentations
General guidelines
Research school attendees are expected to prepare a single PowerPoint poster for a 3-minute presentation. This slide would introduce the area of your research/work to other participants. This activity would introduce you and facilitate collaborations between fellow participants.
Creating your Three-minute slide
Before you start work on your poster, you should take the following rules into account:
There will be 2 sessions for the three-minute presentations. You are expected to present your poster in one of the 2 sessions.
Once your slide appeared on the screen, you are supposed to talk on your slide for 3 minutes. You are expected to strictly adhere to 3-minutes.

Creating your Three-minute slide

- Participants have to print out their posters and bring it to Tartu.
- The poster must not exceed A1 size (594mm x 841 mm).
- The orientation of the poster must be portrait.
- Posters in any other orientation will not be accepted.
- Please use a clear typeface. The poster should be readable from 2-3 meters. The title banner of your poster should state the title of the presentation and the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s).
- Organize your poster in a logical sequence, following a structure that includes the following sections: Title, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References (if applicable).
