Cheuk-Lun Lee
Cheuk-Lun Lee is a Research Officer at The University of Hong Kong's Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He received a joint-PhD in chemistry and medicine from the same university. During 2017-2018, he was a visiting research fellow at the University of Cambridge's Center for Trophoblast Research. His research interests include placenta development, extracellular vesicle biology, and reproductive glycobiology. He is enthusiastic about exploring the use of stem cell, organoid, and nanotechnology models to investigate trophoblast differentiation and its relationship with obstetrical syndromes. He is also dedicated to examining the functional role of placenta-derived extracellular vesicles as a modulator of feto-maternal immunotolerance. He has published over 60 research articles in various journals, and he continues to foster collaborations to achieve higher research goals in these areas.
