“Attending the research school on Basics to Work with Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) in Tartu, Estonia was an excellent experience. Besides the beautiful city, I enjoyed the well-organized lectures with experienced trainers who readily answered questions and facilitated interactive sessions. The hands-on training immensely benefited me, especially in EV extraction and characterization, proving invaluable for my research. Moreover, the supportive and extensive networks formed among the participants during the school enriched my experience. I highly recommend this research school to anyone seeking to improve their skills and knowledge in EV research.”

“I attended the research school “Basics to Work with Extracellular Vesicles” in September 2023 in Tartu, Estonia. The research school provides a comprehensive overview of fundamental knowledge, guidelines, and various methods and techniques for isolating and characterizing extracellular vesicles (EVs). Supported by hands-on workshops in the laboratory, it equips young researchers with the necessary knowledge to initiate and develop their own EV research. Furthermore, it offers the opportunity to learn from experienced experts in the field in a conducive atmosphere. I highly recommend the research school to all scientists who are considering establishing their own EV research endeavors.”

“The 3-day hands-on workshop on "Basics to Work with Extracellular Vesicles" in Tartu, Estonia from 5-7 September 2023 was a valuable learning experience. As someone working in the field of EVs, especially for beginners, this workshop provided essential insights into various techniques for isolation, quantification, and characterization of EVs from different biological samples. From sample preparation to EV purification using different isolation techniques, and from EV characterization via Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis to Western blot and electron microscopy, the workshop covered all the necessary steps comprehensively. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, guiding us through each process with clarity. The hands-on approach enhanced our understanding and confidence in working with EVs, empowering us to apply these techniques independently in our home laboratories. Overall, the workshop was instrumental in enriching our skills and advancing our research in the field of Extracellular Vesicles. Most importantly, the laboratory environment and instructors were super friendly.”

“I had a fantastic time at the event last year at the University of Tartu! As someone with a chemistry background, the workshop was an invaluable experience that helped me gain a strong foundation in the basics of exosome extraction, isolation, and purification. It was amazing to connect with such a diverse group of researchers from different countries and backgrounds, all with unique areas of expertise. The event truly exceeded my expectations, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have participated.”
